Your ignition system is where power actually happens, and the factory setup was built to a budget. This kit pairs two proven upgrades into one box: a full set of ACCEL high-output SuperCoils and a set of Ford Performance one-step-colder iridium spark plugs. Together they deliver a hotter, more complete burn and the ignition headroom to back up your other mods — no guessing, no mismatched parts, no leftover questions.
Why refresh the whole spark system at once
Coils and plugs work as a team. As you add power — cams, a high-flow intake, an aggressive tune, or boost — the spark has to jump the gap and light the mixture under higher cylinder pressure. Tired factory coils start to misfire right when you're asking the most of them, and a stock-heat-range plug can't shed combustion heat fast enough, inviting pre-ignition. Upgrading one without the other leaves performance on the table. Doing both at the same time means one install, one clean baseline, and an ignition system that fires hard and stays consistent at the top of the tach.

- Ideal for forced induction and nitrous; reuses your factory layout, no modifications
Why it's better together
A colder plug fires its best with a strong coil behind it. Pairing ACCEL's high-output coils with Ford Performance's colder iridium plugs gives you reliable spark under higher cylinder pressure, cleaner combustion, and sharper throttle response — exactly what a modified Coyote wants. Buy them as a kit and skip the cross-referencing.
Fitment — please read before ordering
This bundle fits 2011 through early 2016 (built on or before 2/23/16) Ford Coyote 5.0L engines — Mustang GT and F-150 5.0L (plus 2012–2013 Boss 302).
Important: Ford changed the coil connector partway through the 2016 model year, and the ACCEL coils in this kit use the early-style connector. They will not fit engines built after 2/23/16, including 2017+ Mustang GT, 2017+ F-150, and 2018+ Gen 3 engines. If you have a 2016 vehicle, check your build date or coil connector before ordering — two "2016" cars can take different parts. On a later engine? We stock the correct coils for 2/24/16–2017 and 2018+ Gen 3 — reach out and we'll match you to the right kit.
A quick install tip
Even pre-gapped plugs should be checked before they go in. Confirm your gap (0.035″ is the shipped spec; tighten slightly for higher boost — always per your tuner), and don't pry on the delicate iridium electrode. Need a gauge? Add a gap tool to your order and do it right the first time.
At Wild 5, we always want your order to go smoothly and without delay - but we also take credit card fraud very seriously, especially since we're dealing with valuable performance parts. That means, before we help you go too wild with your whip, we may or may not contact you to verify your payment method.
We use automated software to detect potentially suspicious orders and some orders are inadvertently flagged, so please don't take it personally! We just want to ensure we're playing our part to protect our customers and the public from unauthorized use of payment methods. Verification methods may include one of the following:

Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is successfully received and verified.
Business days are Monday through Friday and exclude weekends and holidays.
Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or on holidays may begin processing on the next business day.
During periods of high order volume, product launches, sales events, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be extended.
Processing times are separate from shipping and delivery times.

Estimated delivery times generally are 3-10 business days.

Shipping Rates

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
After an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's operations.
Wild 5 Performance is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather events, customs, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If tracking indicates your package was lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to investigate the issue.
Packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reported as missing may require customers to contact the carrier directly and/or file a claim where applicable.
Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may have shipping limitations due to local laws, regulations, carrier restrictions, or product availability.
We reserve the right to restrict shipment to certain regions or locations.
Split Shipments
